Attaching files or images in Gmail is straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
1. Open Gmail and Compose a New Email
Go to Gmail
Click the “Compose” button in the top-left corner to start a new email.
2. Attach a File or Image
In the compose window, look for the paperclip icon at the bottom (📎).
Click it, and a file explorer will open.
Navigate to the file or image you want to attach and select it.
Click Open (or Choose, depending on your device).
The file will appear below the subject line as an attachment.
3. Optional: Insert Images Inline
If you want the image to appear inside the email body, click the image icon (🖼️) next to the paperclip.
Choose to upload from your computer or insert from Google Drive.
The image will be embedded directly in the email body.
4. Send Your Email
Add the recipient, subject, and message.
Click Send.
💡 Tips:
Gmail allows attachments up to 25 MB. Larger files can be sent via Google Drive.
You can attach multiple files at once by selecting more than one in the file explorer.
