1. Go to the Gmail sign-up page

Visit: https://accounts.google.com/signup
(This is Google’s official account-creation page.)

2. Enter your basic information

You’ll be asked for:

First name
Last name
A desired email address
(example: yourname@gmail.com)
A password and confirmation

3. Click “Next”

4. Verify your phone number

Google may ask for a phone number to:

Confirm it’s you
Recover your account if you forget your password

You’ll receive a code by text; enter it to continue.

5. Add optional recovery info

Google may ask for:

A recovery email (optional but helpful)
Your birth date
Your gender

6. Agree to Google’s Terms of Service

7. Your Gmail account is ready!

You can now:

Send and receive email Access Google Drive, Calendar, Docs, etc. Use your Google account to sign in to other apps
